The Canticle of the Wind – sculpture from the Gardens of the Word collection
Essence of nature. Wood, stone, cut circle (polished granite).
Sculpture extends painterly language into the spatial realm, where form, matter, and light define its presence.
The works are created in stone, wood, and mineral materials, whose properties — structure, weight, and organicity — shape the character of each piece. Forms emerge through an intuitive engagement with matter, where structure and the inherent qualities of the material inform their development.
In selected works, gold leaf and mineral gold appear as elements of light, entering into a dialogue with the rawness of the material and revealing its inner dynamics.
Each sculpture exists as a form in space — an object that engages its surroundings through light, balance, and rhythm, while retaining an organic character and a reference to nature.
